Sales Representative – Automation & Aftermarket – Mississauga, ON

PSI Engineering manufactures and integrates automated pack and sortation systems for high volume warehouse and distribution centers who serve the business to consumer (B2C) market, drastically improving throughput and accuracy while reducing labor costs.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for new System and Core Product Sales, expanding customer base by discovering new opportunities. They will also be responsible for driving sales for PSI aftermarket products working closely with existing and newly on boarded customers. This role requires a high level of activity with existing customers presenting and quoting our aftermarket programs and services.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Establishing contact and following up with key decision makers in targeted industries.
  • Designing outreach campaigns with industry specific messaging.
  • Conducting market research and analysis and staying up to date with industry news to capture unique opportunities as they arise.
  • Working with Sales Executives and Marketing Teams to present PSI system & Core Product solutions to prospective clients.
  • Experimenting and testing outreach methods to develop best practices and strategies for customer acquisition.
  • Tracking and reporting all efforts to management.
  • Lead aftermarket sales to existing PSI customers, providing an elevated customer experience that ensures their PSI solutions have the optimal aftercare program.
  • Drive Aftermarket priorities and strategies with respect to sales activities and customer implementation of aftermarket services.
  • As directed by the manager, execute sales plans that result in near- and long-term revenue growth for all reoccurring revenue streams.
  • Regular check ins with existing PSI customers and communicating findings with service teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Ensuring annual aftermarket agreements are reviewed, updated and renewed.
  • Prepare monthly plan and forecast for aftermarket sales aligned to achieving sales targets.
  • Responsible for reporting metrics and Key Performance Indicators that support above.
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features & discovery of new methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Obtaining customer testimonials for the PSI Aftercare program.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of Automation.
  • Self-motivating and driven team player
  • Ability to work in a highly goal-driven environment
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with Customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills
