This modern ZPC - "Zone Powered Conveyor" system is totally different and new. It is full of new and innovative ideas

Six Patents have been registered in most industrialized countries worldwide. The concept functions fully autonomously. It is equipped with new developed conveyor-roller-concept and combinations.  The new separated drive system and all electronic controls are inside the closed frame.  The sleek contours of the frame platform made of anodized Aluminum combine modern aesthetic perception with high stability and torsion stiffness and look avant-garde in all aspects. Nothing sticks out, not even a screw head.  Your operators who stand or walk along the conveyor cannot be injured.

All elements, as bearing-housings, photo sensors, electronic control boxes etcetera are only snapped-in, no screws, no other fixations, no tools are necessary to assemble or disassemble the parts. All cables are snapped into their places, guided in the patented rips of the profiles – no “spaghetti syndrome” of cables – a very easy and patented design.

It is clean, it is protected, it is secure, it is easy to open and to maintain and it fits to your modern machine centers and architecture. The whole frame construction is made of anodized Aluminum.

How the ZPC (Zone Powered Conveyor) works and saves up to 84% energy

“ZPC” means “Zone Powered Conveyor”. It is a modern roller and belt-conveyor system, which offers fast transporting throughout the whole internal logistics, to be used before crossings and stops with the ability of Zero Pressure Accumulation (ZPA). It is developed for smooth and fast transporting but not only for “accumulation”. The ZPC-conveyor concept is controlled by the ZPC-Control Concept. The ASi field bus works with nominal 30 V and the DC-motors need 48 V by 40 Watt.

The ZPC powers each zone separately in the moment when something has to be transported on this zone. If the zone in front is occupied, it stops and consumes no energy; if the zone in front is empty, it transports with 0.3 m/sec. to the zone in front; if 5 zones in front are empty, it transports continuously with 5 times the speed to and over the zones in front… and so on. In addition, it always starts and stops smoothly. When running, there is of course a gap between the goods to transport of one zone length each. This means that if in front there is already a good stan-ding, it will accumulate with zero pressure and will not touch the goods in front. Whereas zero-pressure accumulation systems are used mostly before a working station, a crossing or at the end, because these systems are more expensive than just powered system.
